When you are bored and have to think of something for the family to do you should think about something that everyone can enjoy that is outside and that involves thinking and moving really quickly. Better yet, why not add an activity to your families lifestyle that promotes teamwork and cohesion? One recreational activity that can offer this and more is Paintball - one of the most exciting games that adults and young adults can play.

If you do not know what paintball is, then you have probably not been out for a while, or ever. It is a game of strategic combat. Now, most of the time it is just a game about combat, where two or more people will play opposite each other. Other times it can be a competitive game - on the speedball field that is. What this means is that because paintball can be played in so many ways, everyone is certain to find a game variant they enjoy.

If you have come across paintball at a fun fair that you have recently been to, you may have noticed that it is a bit boring. This is the limited version of paintball, and one thing that you have to remember, is that there is no limit to what paint ball can be. When played in the woods it can be an all out tactical game, and when played on a large field filled with bunkers it can be a fast paced shootout.

Now, playing paintball in that way is fun too, but there are other ways to play paintball that will make the game go on for quite some time. There are also many computer games that you can adapt into a real paintball game, Unreal tournament is one them.

This will be played where you will have a few people on a team and each team will have about five flags. The objective of this game would be for each team to hunt down the other teams flag (after they have hidden it in the combat area).

It is a great stress reliever and you can also spend quality time with the family when you do this. There's nothing like letting out a weeks worth of frustration through a healthy dose of adrenaline.
