The Green Bay Packers Improve

The Green Bay Packers had a very disappointing season in 08' with a 6-10 record. In 07' the Packers finished 13-3 and were a couple minutes away from playing in the Super Bowl. However, they did go through some big changes and will improve with experience.

Packers fans want to believe that Aaron Rogers will take their team to the Super Bowl shortly. And most do believe he will get them there in a matter of time. He's young and has a very bright future.

Brett Favre is an icon in Green Bay despite how his departure ended there. Aaron Rogers must show he is capable in taking the Packers to the Super Bowl, but he can't do it alone. If the management bring in the right players around him, I think he's the type of QB to make this happen.

The NFC is really up for grabs and it would surprise a few if the Packers did go that far. The Packers will have to contend with the favored Minnesota Vikings and a "game" Chicago Bears team with Jay Cutler -- who will not be easy to beat.

With the exception of the Detroit Lions, the Packers will have to play their best if they expect to beat the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears, who are just as good as the Packers.

Not only are they strong offensively, but they have a very good defense with the likes of A.J. Hawk, Charles Woodson, and Aaron Kampman. Defense wins championships!

Somehow, the Bengals managed to overcome the Packers, maintaining the lead for most of the game. Aaron Rodgers himself wasn't too bad (he didn't throw any interceptions), but Ryan Grant was weak at the running back position, and lost a key fumble that seriously hurt the Packers' chances of winning the game.

If Aaron Rogers is truly the heir apparent to Brett Favre he has a monumental task in front of him. While he can never be as great as Favre was, he can be Aaron Rogers and play to his abilities and strengths - however far that takes Green Bay remains a mystery so far.
