Global warming. For the past few years it has become very much discussed and hotly discussed topic. Is it real or is just so much hogwash generated uninformed scare tacticians trying to clamp down on free enterprise? Changing weather patterns around the world, seem to indicate that the country is actually May in the midst of global warming cycle. Scientific data shows that the temperature of the earth is gradually rising and climate change are seen in all areas worldwide as a result. We are already seeing the moderate rises of sea levels. Storms become more severe. Areas that are normally not receive much rainfall are documenting higher than normal rainfall. Areas that would otherwise experience good rainfall levels are receiving less and less.
The ozone layer over the South Pole was depleted by allowing more radiation from the sun to enter the country in the atmosphere helps to raise global temperatures, causing the northern and southern half ice caps to melt at levels not known, in the thousands and thousands of years. Glaciers in various locations around the world a thought to be semi permanent are melting and receding off at alarming rates. Implications for humanity are enormous and potentially devastating. One half to two thirds of the world population lives in coastal areas or low lying, which could be completely eliminated by the rising sea level brought about by the melting of the Earth's polar ice caps. Society as we know it could be completely devastated. Major coastal cities totally wiped out or at least are partially or totally uninhabitable. Agriculture severely crippled. World commerce severely disrupted. And more countries, the temperature rises and faster effect is amplified. Some scientists are predicting that the global temperature could rise by ten to twenty degrees and sea level rise as twenty feet or more from the middle of this century, because of accelerated global warming.
Very Scary scenario for our future and our future generations to come. But what is the cause of this phenomenon? Is it all part of some natural cycle of the earth, or is it somehow has caused, or at least intensified the way we live and use of funds and abuse of our planet? It is possible that a part of a normal cycle of climate changes that the country has experienced since it was created. Country has gone through many climatic changes, including ice ages and periods of tropical and Sub-tropical afforestation, since it was created and began to develop. But she is also very possible that this is a cycle of warming is amplified by human interaction with the atmosphere that protects the earth. Interaction in the form of fossil fuels, which emit carbon dioxide and other pollutants into the air to help trap greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere. Industrial air pollution and pollution from cars we drive is very likely the main perpetrators of the effects we are seeing and experiencing with our atmosphere. Since the beginning of the nineteenth century and the birth of the industrial age, level of pollution in the atmosphere we are constantly rising as more of the industrialized world becomes a problem only gets worse until industrialisation, which relies on fossil fuels.
What can we do as individuals to help stem this rise in the pollution of our atmosphere and the possible contribution to global warming caused by the use of fossil fuels as the main way of showing our society? First we could require that our government will work with developing countries more friendly forms of energy. Wind, solar, geothermal and other forms of energy that does not emit harmful toxins into the atmosphere. Second, we can make changes in our personal lives that will help reduce the amount of pollution we create as individuals. The biggest culprit among us is the cars we drive. Cars that use fuel that were improperly formulated to burn properly, because oil companies formulate their only fuel burn efficiently enough to actually allow our cars to work, so that they can make as much money as they can from their products, regardless of the consequences to our planet.
Slowly, alternative fuels and alternative fuels were developed. Ethanol, natural gas, hydrogen, biodeisel along with electric and solar powered vehicles. Hybrid vehicles combine electric drives of the time with conventional gas powered engines. These are all potential solutions to the problems of pollution caused by our cars. However, their full potential remains years away from full commercial development. But there are ways to actually make our cars run better promote the improvement of fuel mixture, so that more worse in this way completely eliminated a broad majority of pollution caused by unburned fuel emitted as unburned hydrocarbon pollution. This may, thanks to committed, independent inventors to be easily and economically accomplished by merging hydroxy gas system in our present cars. These systems can be bought already built for several hundred dollars or with proper plans can be easily constructed from readily obtainable materials for under a hundred dollars. There are many people and commercial entities that try to dispel and suppress this information, either because they are too much doubt that these systems can actually work, or more importantly the commercial entities who realize that these systems do in fact work, and if people pursuing this technology in their cars that these entities will receive drastically affected.
It is ultimately up to each of us to change the way we do things and what can I do to reverse the damage that we as a race of people do this planet's health that sustains us and all living things on this planet.
